Examples of Events/Financial supports provided by the Rosary Altar Society:

  • Annual Craft Show, which is our largest profit raising event! (Always the 1st Saturday of November)
  • New altar linens & priest vestments
  • Financial support for the annual Party in the Park (free public event!)
  • Financial support for the annual Religious Ed Kick-off (free public event!)
  • Financial support of the SHE program

  • How do you become a member? All women of Immaculate Conception Parish are members of this society
  • Mission Statement: Women coming together to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary in prayer, acts of charity for our community
  • When & where are the meetings? 2nd Saturday of the month at 9:00am (following the SHE meetings when those are in session) in the Ottoville K of C room.
  • What do we do at the meetings? On average the meetings last 30 minutes. We start the meeting by praying one decade of the rosary, followed by any upcoming/past events or needs supported by the Altar Rosary Society.
  • What is the Purpose of this Society? Members of the W.O.W. ARS strive to:
  • Spread devotion to our Mother Mary through recitation of the Rosary and works of Christian Charity within our parish and community
  • Promote good fellowship and a friendly spirit among the women of the Parish
  • Try to pray a decade of the Rosary each day, if possible
  • To aid in the care of the altar, altar linens, priest vestments, etc.
  • Contribute toward the financial support of the Church and Community events
