What is Vacation Bible School (VBS)?
Kids will follow their crew leaders through the 7 stations each night:
- Sing & Play Opening – We enjoy meeting our Bible buddy and learning the bible point & quote of the day! We also love dancing and singing to a few themed songs!
- Imagination Station – Kids will enjoy exciting experiments that connect to the day’s Bible story and point.
- Sticky Scripture – The daily Bible point and verse are reinforced as kids watch and discuss a short movie! Kids will also open & explore God's Word everyday!
- Snacks – Everyone will enjoy a quick snack and water break with their crew!
- Games – Kids enjoy the games as they focus on working together to accomplish the crew goal!
- Bible Adventures – Kids experience the daily Bible story in a way that engages them physically and emotionally.
- Finale – all parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters are welcome to attend each night! We will wrap up what we learned and sing & dance to a few more songs!
Where do all the resources come from to put on VBS?
Everywhere! Last year was a shining example of what can be achieved when a community comes together with a shared purpose! We had over 96 volunteers who helped with everything from building & setting up decorations, teaching & leading the 170+ kids through the stations and finally tearing down decorations. We also were blessed with many, much appreciated donations of both monetary amounts and items from community individuals and businesses!
